Munich – The second season in the VCO ProSIM SERIES is up and running. The Esports racing event organised by the Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) on the iRacing simulation platform provided plenty of action in the season-opener at the virtual Red Bull Ring. Over three races during the evening, the best Esports racers and many real-world pros competed against one another in over 60 teams. The big winner was Team Redline, winning all three races.

Munich – ‘The Sim Grid x VCO World Cup’ champions have been confirmed. At the fifth and final endurance race on the Assetto Corsa Competizione sim platform, Egor Ogorodnikov, Yarolsav Shevyrtalov, Denis Grabovskii and Alexander Smolyar secured the title for the Russian Simware.pro team.
Munich – Team Redline gave a dominant performance in all respects at the third out of four VCO Grand Slam events of the year at Road Atlanta. At iRacing Petit Le Mans powered by VCO, the team led by Dom Duhan celebrated successes in all three categories. Overall victory and triumph in the LMP2 class went to Shane van Gisbergen and Dominik Hofmann, who completed a total of 503 laps in the #28 Dallara prototype.
Munich – The Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) announced its plans for a new top class in international Esports racing on Saturday. CEO Florian Haasper introduced the new Esports Racing League (ERL) at the ADAC SimRacing Expo. Starting in 2022, this is to be hosted on the three sim platforms iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione and rFactor 2. The Esports Racing World Cup (ERWC), announced in spring by the VCO, will be the highlight of the season. Initially, 30 teams will be invited to battle for 50,000 US dollars and the title of ‘Best Esports racing team in the World’, from 28th to 30th January 2022. The same sum of prize money will then be on offer throughout the rest of the ERL season. RaceSpot TV and ‘The Sim Grid’ will support the project as key partners.

This Esports racing championship, organised by the Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO), features Esports racers and real-world racing drivers teaming up at four events to battle for prize money of 25,000 US dollars. The series starts on 2nd November 2021. There will be three further events that will take place on Tuesdays on iRacing, the leading sim platform. The VCO and RaceSpot TV will again be working together closely on the live broadcasts.
