About VCO

VIRTUAL COMPETITION. REAL COMMITMENT.

VCO develops esports racing through competition, collaboration and original ideas.

Our mission

The Virtual Competition Organisation brings together the different parts of esports racing: teams and drivers, simulation and gaming platforms, motorsport organisations, brands, media and community.

We create and operate competition formats, develop racing projects with partners, and build the content and communication around them. The objective is not to reproduce one version of motorsport online. It is to use the possibilities of virtual racing to create competition that works on its own terms.

WHY ESPORTS RACING?

Sim racing is a broad world. It brings together everyone from casual racers and enthusiasts to professional teams and drivers.

VCO focuses on its competitive side.

We call it esports racing: organised competition built around sporting formats, teams, drivers, championships, broadcasts and audiences.

We believe virtual racing has the potential to develop far beyond the simulator itself – as a genuine esports discipline with its own competitions, stars, communities and major events.

That vision has shaped VCO from the beginning. And it continues to shape what we build today.

Esports racing, not one platform

VCO has worked across a wide range of racing games and simulations. That platform-independent approach is visible most clearly in the Esports Racing League, where adaptability across different environments is part of the sporting challenge.

At the same time, platform-specific projects can go deep. VCO INFINITY and VCO Grand Slams use iRacing to create very different forms of competition, while the IMSA Esports Global Championship brings a major real-world sports car organisation into a dedicated virtual championship.

Connected to motorsport

Virtual racing has its own teams, specialists and communities, but it also has a natural connection to real-world motorsport. VCO has repeatedly worked where those worlds meet: with motorsport organisations, professional racing drivers, manufacturers and competition formats inspired by real racing — without losing sight of what makes esports racing distinct.

The racing community

Competition only works when teams want to enter, drivers want to race and people want to follow it. VCO’s role is therefore wider than race administration. It includes broadcast, media, photography, storytelling, partner integration and direct communication with the esports racing community.

Working With VCO

VCO is more than a competition organiser. We work with rights holders, brands and organisations to develop and deliver esports racing projects.
